Preferences

TicTie Calculate version 5.0 and higher only. See our How to Check Your Version article for more information. To upgrade to version 5.0 please reach out to support@safesend.com

TicTie Calculate preferences will allow the user to customize or change default settings for Tickmarks, Cross References, and the Calculator. 

  • Select the TicTie Calculate menu in Adobe®, then select Preferences

  • This will open the TicTie Calculate Preferences window.

Tickmarks Preferences

  • Navigate to the Tickmarks tab to select your Symbol, Number and Letter Defaults.

  • You can select the default Color and Size.
  • You can decide if you want the numbers and letters to automatically change as you stamp (Auto-Increment). The numbers and letters will change in ascending order. 
  • The Last Used checkbox will remember the last tickmark used, so when you click the Symbols, Numbers, or Letters, the most recently used tickmark will automatically be selected. 

Cross Reference Preferences

  • Navigate to the Cross References tab to select your Cross References Defaults.

  • You can select the default Color and Size.
  • You can decide if you want the Cross References to automatically change as you add them (Auto-Increment). The cross-references will change in ascending order. 
  • The Last Used checkbox will remember the last cross-reference used, so when you click the cross-reference button, the most recently used cross-reference will automatically be selected. 
  • You can select the Zoom Type of your links. When the link is clicked, the page will display the selected Zoom Type. 

Calculator Preferences

  • Navigate to the Calculator tab to select your Calculator Defaults, as well as Inserted Tape options.

  • Color changes the background color of the printed tape. 
  • Font Size changes the font size of the text in the printed tape. 
  • Narrow prints the tape in a narrow box. 
  • Add Author and Date and the Add Column Separators options are pictured below:
