TicTie Calculate Version 6.x - What's New?

In April 2024, we released a new version of TTC that requires a new installation. Below are some key differences in the newest version of the program. 

SafeSend

TicTie Calculate version 6.x is now included with the SafeSend Preferred and Premium Tiers at no additional cost. 

Administrators can manage users and account settings. Click the tabs below to see an overview of how you can manage your portal and some of the updates to the plug-in. 

Users

Add Users

  1. Click the Navigation Widget
  2. Click Account Management
  3. Click User Management
  4. Click Edit next to the appropriate user. 
  5. Select one of the predefined TTC Groups.
  6. Click Update to save your changes. 

SafeSend Account

This section allows Managers to add/edit bookmark templates and update account settings. Once you have permission to use TTC, you can access the online portion from your SafeSend dashboard. 

Bookmark Templates

You can create custom bookmark templates or edit existing templates. See our Online Account Version 6.x article for more information about creating your own bookmarking templates.

Custom Symbols

You can upload an image file to add a custom symbol that is available to all users. You can also delete images at any time. See our Online Account Version 6.x article for more information about custom symbols.

Account Settings

  1. Click Settings in the left panel. 
  2. Click the checkbox to enforce that the sign-off occurs in order when the Sign-Off Pages feature is used.

Download and Install

Info:

  • TicTie Calculate has to be downloaded by a System Admin from your SafeSend Settings.
  • The System Admin should then email that file to all users of TicTie Calculate.
  • Your SafeSend username/password is required to access the plugin in Adobe®

Updates to the Plugin
While many parts of the plug-in are the same, below are some key enhancements made to the program so far. 

Tickmarks and Cross References

  • Over 70 new colors to choose from for all Tickmarks.
  • When Symbols, Numbers, or Letters are selected, a moveable window appears that overlays the PDF.
  • Users can add up to 80 Cross References.

Review Sign-Offs

You can easily track who has prepared and reviewed pages. It automatically tracks the user who has signed off the pages based on their log-in information. You can more easily track all sign-offs and filter based on date and highlighted items. We also track when Adobe® notes were added to a specific page.

  1. Click the Review Sign-Offs tool. 
  2. Use the filter options to display only certain information. 
  3. Review the reported information. 
  4. Click Close to close the tool. 

Calculator

The calculator tape includes the following updates:

  • Include a custom name for the tape.
  • The tape includes the date/time.
  • Right-click on the tape to edit. 
  • 10-Key calculator is now available.
