General Questions

Is TicTie Calculate Required to see tickmarks, calculator tape, and cross-references? No, Tic Tie Calculate is only required when applying these features. Once the document has been updated and saved it will be viewable to anyone that opens the document. 
Can I use a Different PDF Program with TicTie Calculate? Our program is only compatible with the Adobe® Acrobat® line of products version 2020 and higher (NOTE: this does not include Acrobat® Reader, which cannot edit PDFs so will not work with Tic Tie & Calculate).  Tic Tie & Calculate will not work with any other PDF software. How do I Purchase Additional Licenses? How do I renew My Account? 

For version 5.x, see Purchasing and Renewing Licenses. For version 6.x, licenses are not required to add users to your SafeSend account. See our Installing and Activating TicTie Calculate Version 6.x article for more information about adding users to version 6.x.

How can I edit a calculator tape that has already been printed?  Double-click the tape to edit it. See our Calculator article for more information.
Is TicTie Calculate compatible with Macs? 

TicTie Calculate is not compatible with Macs; it is only compatible with Windows PCs. See our System Requirements article for more information.

How do I Free Licenses for Use?  To free a license for version 5.x, you can delete a user or purchase an additional license. See our Release a License article for more information.
How do licenses work and how do we track them? For information about licensing see our Release a License article. 
How do I delete a tickmark?  For instructions on deleting tickmarks, see our Delete a Tickmark article.

Can the bookmark zoom level be changed?  The zoom level is set to 150% by default in Adobe®. The default zoom level can be changed in the bookmarks menu. For more information about this setting, see our Change Bookmark Zoom Level article.
All of my TTC tools are grayed out and I cannot use them, how do I fix this?  You must be logged in to TicTie Calculate in Adobe® and a PDF must be open for the tools to be available for use.
